Chana ki Dal ke Vade Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup Bengal gram dal

1/2 cup Tuvar (yellow lentils) dal

1/2 cup Urad (moong dal washed) dal

1/2 teaspoon Chopped ginger

3-4 nos. Green chilies

1 pinch Asafetida

4-5 nos. Curry leaves

6-7 tablespoons Oil

1/4 tsp. each of red chili powder, Coriander powder & Amchur (mango powder) powder

Salt according to taste

Serve with

Serve hot with ketchup or chutney.

Method

1.Wash and soak the dals for 2 hours. Grind to a coarse paste.
2.Mix in all the remaining ingredients.
3.Take a little bit of the mixture, shape into balls.
4.Slightly flatten them and deep fry in hot oil till golden brown in color.
