Misal Pav

Ingredients

Moong Sprouts
Peas (vatana sprouts)
Kidney Beans
Potatoes
Chopped onions
Corainder
Farsan
Garam Masala
Red Chilli Powder
Salt
Garlic
Ginger
Lemon juice
Oil
Water
Bread

Method

Boil the sprouts till they are tender but they should not open up
Boil potatoes
Make a paste using red chilly powder, garam masala, salt and lemon juice
Put oil in a pan and heat it. Add ginger and garlic pieces to it. (if u are lazy to add pieces and have ginger garlic paste at home, use that). Stir for a minute
Add the masala paste. Mix well and add potatoes
Stir hard.
Add the sprouts
Add more water
Simmer till oil forms layer on top
Add salt and lemon juice as per the taste preference
Add farsan, onions and coriander on top of it
Serve hot with Pav

Some tips:

You can make 'rassa (gravy)' without the potatoes and sprouts. This is used to pour in the misal if someone prefers watery misal without too much of farsan.
